Brooklyn’s North Highlands released their debut full-length, Wild One this week.

It’s the sort of intricately homespun and delicate indie-pop I’d call “polite” in an unpatronizing, earnest, and positive way, though it is on a painful post-CMJ morning like this that it stops being polite and starts being soothing balm for a battered brain. Think Twin Sister with less Stereolab and a more gentle breeze, and stream all eleven of Wild One‘s tracks below. “Lion Heart” and the previously posted “Benefits” are nice starting points, if you need some.
